Owned by a former governor of Batangas, it is a resort island of 27 hectares. The island is famous for its turquoise water, white sand, rocky cliffs. In addition to this, the island also has Greecian pillars and statues, which gives the Parthenon-like feeling. If you are an expert in scuba diving and snorkelling, you can do it here without paying any charge. But don’t forget to bring your kit with you. During this activity, you can also see Anemones, Moorish Idols, Trigger Fishes and even remains of ships in the water. There are some rock caves near the beach. You may bid adieu the island while watching the sunset (if you don’t wish to stay at night).

With its brilliant coral reefs and alluring cyan waters, the Elephant beach is one of the locations that adds to the beach paradise reputation of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The vivid colour of the water is accentuated by the pure white sands of the beach. This beach is named this because there are Elephants in the forest which were used to transport wooden logs. These Elephants used to roam in the forest as well as on the beach.
