Bird Paradise is a 17-hectare wildlife park in Mandai that opened in May 2023, replacing the former Jurong Bird Park and housing over 3,500 birds from 400 species across eight walk-through aviaries. Each aviary recreates a distinct habitat with birds flying freely overhead rather than confined to individual enclosures. The park is home to rare species including the Burmese ground cuckoo and Bali myna, and the free-flight macaw and cockatoo zones allow exceptionally close encounters. Allocate 3–4 hours; it pairs naturally with the Singapore Zoo next door, and combined Mandai tickets offer savings on entry.
