Smaaash, Mumbai Overview

A one of its kind entertainment hub in Lower Parel area of Mumbai, Smaaash is one of the best destinations for a fun day outing in the City of Dreams. Smaaash has taken video gaming to a whole new level of excitement and expertise with a fun culmination of sports, music, virtual reality, simulation technology and creative digital designing. Smaaash Mumbai is situated in the Kamala Mills Compound of Lower Parel, Mumbai, near Gate No 4, Trade view Building, Utopia City on the Pandurang Budhkar Marg.

Attractions

Smaaash Mumbai has done a brilliant job in breaking the stereotypes of sports and entertainment and has managed to infuse a sense of childish exhilaration in a complex full of highly specialised gaming experience.

  1. Smaaash Cricket - In this 360° simulator of India’s favourite sport, cricket, you can face iconic deliveries by the legends of the game like Brett Lee or Dale Steyn, and try your hand out at sending the yorkers and full tosses out of a packed virtual stadium.
  2. Twilight Bowling - The bowling alley is a special attraction of Smaaash. With an exotic feel all around the alley thanks to the UV lights, which gives the attraction its name, Twilight Bowling is where most people like to spend a casual evening, chilling with friends and drinks.
  3. Sky Karting - The Go Karting track of Smaaash is India’s first multi-level arena and boasts of a German-made track and super stylised and high-tech karts. A trip to Smaaash Mumbai is incomplete without taking a speedy trip around the Sky Karting track.
  4. Cockpit 360 - Those interested in video games involving battles and fighter planes will have the time of their life in this apocalyptic simulation game set in the World War era. You drop in the middle of a Kamikaze-style attack by the enemies and try your best to fly your jet and defend the city.

Snow Rush - This fun attraction brings winter right in the middle of scorching Mumbai weather for its visitors, with sub-zero temperatures, snow and ice beneath your feet and options like ski carousel, sledge carts, igloos and a snow war room to make snowballs and bombard your friends with it. Don’t forget to enjoy a sip at the Snow Bar.

XD - Xtreme Interactive Theatre - The pull of interactive theatres is only going up day by day, and this one in Smaaash does a brilliant job with a wide array of experiences like roller coasters, haunted houses and shooting ranges for killing zombies. With all the worst nightmares coming to life in this extremely realistic virtual reality theatre, make sure you don’t go in with a weak heart.
Other than these, there are more fun and exciting games for you to take part in. Football fanatics can sweat it out at Super Keeper where you shoot penalty kicks and try to get it into the net or if you are an adrenaline junkie, try out X2 Motor Racing Simulator Vertigo - Walk the Plank and try making your way to the other side walking over a narrow plank suspended at 50 feet height.

If you have little ones with you for whom some of these experiences might be a little too much, no need to worry. At Trampoline Park, they can burn all their energies jumping up and down or shoot some basketball through the hoops or play in the foam ball pit. For kids and adults alike, there is the Smart Arcade with evergreen classics like Air Hockey, Fruit Ninja or Pac Man and many other old and new games to keep you busy.

Food and Drinks

A place like Smaaash Mumbai should always have good options for dining, and it does not disappoint in that aspect. There is a Smaaash Viewing Gallery which keeps playing different sporting events on 11 giant screens. Settle down in front of anyone with a mug of beer and some finger snacks to spend an evening watching your favourite teams play.

For an experience more focussed on food, try Mighty Small Cafe which is carnival themed and serves a host of scrumptious delicacies. There is also a dessert bar called Big Fat Treats, which you can try out if you have a sweet tooth.

Entry Timings and Fee

The hours of operation at Smaaash Mumbai are 12 noon to 1 AM on the weekdays, from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, it is open from an hour earlier, that is from 11 AM to 1 AM.

There is no entry fee for Smaaash Mumbai. However, all the games and attractions have individual fees, which range from INR 250 to INR 2500. However, there are always different combo packages available under different offers, for which you have to keep an eye on their official website. There are student offers as well as separate offers on different days of the week on particular attractions, mostly bowling, gaming arcade and sky karting.
