Manila Baywalk, Manila Overview

Known to be a perfect leisure spot and a popular site to witness splendid sunsets, Baywalk is a beautiful seaside esplanade overlooking Manila Bay. Peppered with open-air cafes and local buskers, the place remains crowded. The promenade bustles with activity all day long, which includes song and dance performances by local street artists, local food stalls and kiosks, eateries and food vans, meme artists, acrobats, and the like.

The pedestrian promenade runs for a good length of 2 km along Roxas Boulevard from the US Embassy near Rizal Park up to the Cultural Center of the Philippines past the famous Manila Yacht Club. The Baywalk is known for its iconic golden sunsets, calm bay waters, and lush greenery, all in the backdrop of towering skyscrapers.  Fringed by a line of palm trees and also colorful lamp posts, the promenade also has benches where people can relax and spend some quality time. You can also find kids bicycling and skating here on good days.
