- Given the altitude, altitude sickness is common among the travelers and thus you should carry proper medication with you. Also,Carrying chocolates everywhere you go is a good idea in Leh. They quickly give you the energy when you tend to be tired due to the low oxygen level so high up in the mountains!

We are planning to visit leh in month of June probably first week of June is it good time to visit??
But if you go on the 23rd-24th date at the end of June, it will be more fun because at that time those people celebrate their biggest festival.

Is it safe to take parents who are 65yrs age for ladakh trip. Directly via flight to leh.
It is not very advisable to take them to Ladakh as many people suffer from breathing problems there because of the altitude.

Is it possible to visit ladakh with in the cost of 15k from Chennai?
Since Chennai is quite far from Ladakh it would be a little difficult to manage your stay within 15k. However, you can find cheap travel options from Chennai and try to complete your trip within your budget.
