Kasol Tour Packages

About Kasol Tourism:

Situated in Himachal Pradesh’s Parvati Valley, Kasol is a tiny village often known as the “Amsterdam of India.” A popular tourist destination, it offers plenty for nature and adventure lovers in the form of trekking trails, snow-clad peaks, rivers, dense forests, scenic views and pleasant weather. You can experience all that it has to offer with Holidify’s varied range of Kasol tour packages that are suitable for all.

To revel in its cool climate, visit Kasol between October and June, and make sure to see the Parvati River that originates from the ManTalai Glacier. You can take in the area’s ambience by perching upon a rock. Another picturesque site to not miss out on is the Kheerganga Waterfall located within Kheerganga village. It is also home to religious places like the Shiv Temple and Manikaran Gurudwara.

Kasol tour packages include trips to nearby destinations like Pulga, Tulga and Kalga that are relatively untouched by humans and boast natural beauty, perfect for trekking, nature photography and interacting with the locals. These places are accessible from Barshaini, a destination near Kasol that is perhaps the last place one can reach by road; it’s the starting point for treks and is known for its beautiful views.

Don’t forget to pay a visit to the Chalal, also called the “Israel of Himachal Pradesh,” which is famous for its rustic charm and offers marvellous views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains. Malana, on the other hand, is a small village that is visited for its natural splendour and religious sites like the Jamadagni Temple and Shrine of Renuka Devi.

Thanks to its rugged terrain, Kasol is perfect for trekking; Pin Parvati Pass, Rasol, Sar Pass Trek and Kheerganga are popular trekking trails from Kasol. You can always head over to Magic Valley to experience the snow or spend a night camping outdoors! Spend some money on local items at flea markets or fill your stomachs with delicious food from cafes and restaurants like Buddha Place, Little Italy and Jim Morrison Cafe.

Besides Kheerganga, Kasol travel packages also include Manali and Dalhousie to offer you an amazing trip. Deemed as “India’s Honeymoon Capital,” swarms of people visit Manali for its magnificent views of the Dhauladhar ranges, waterfalls like the Jogini Waterfall, Bhrigu Lake and Manali Sanctuary. It is excellent for paragliding, zorbing, skiing, trekking, river rafting, etc.

Visit Dalhousie to enjoy its lush green meadows, Panchpula, Satdhara Falls, Chamera Lake, Sach Pass and Dainkund Peak. It is also home to colonial structures like St John’s Church and is known for its adventure sports. Holidify has a variety of Kasol tour packages that are customisable and affordable, perfect for a trip with friends and family as they offer you the best of experiences!

Things to Do in Kasol

Kheerganga Trek: One of the prime things to do in Kasol is taking the trek to Kheerganga. Kheerganga (3050 meters) lies at the extreme end of Parvati valley and is the last inhabited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. It is a holy place with a hot water spring, a small temple of Lord Shiva and a bathing tank. It makes a rare combination for any trekker to bathe in hot spring water when everything is covered by snow.

Pin Parvati Pass Trek: Pin Parvati Pass serves as a perfect destination for the trekkers seeking challenging adventure. It is one of an amazing Trans Himalayan trek with a fascinating trail of approximately 110 km. The track within the thick forests of Great Himalayan National Park is also a big challenge even for an experienced trekker.

Camping: Spending a night in camps under the sky full of stars is everybody's dream. This can come true on your visit to Kasol. You can set up camps beside the Parvati River or in the Kheerganga Valley for a whole new thrilling experience.

Trek to Chalal: While Kasol gets the spotlight amongst the villages of the Parvati Valley, one can enjoy the true serenity of the magical Himachal Pradesh by trekking a little further from this major town to the quaint little village of Chalal. Situated at an altitude of over 5300 feet and a 30-minute trek away from the tourist hub of Kasol, Chalal has managed to retain its old world mountain village rustic charm, set in the beautiful Parvati Valley of the Himalayas, with a grand view of snow-capped mountains and majestic pine trees.
