Wat Kaeo Korawaram, Krabi Overview
Wat Kaew Korawaram is Krabi Town's main Buddhist temple, built on a hill with a 100-step staircase leading up to a large golden Buddha statue. The blue-and-white, naga-flanked architecture and courtyard views over the town make it a worthwhile stop if you're already in Krabi Town, though it isn't worth a special trip on its own. Dress conservatively (shoulders and knees covered) to enter.
Wat Kaew Korawaram has a large courtyard, and white temple buildings housing a huge golden Buddha statue adorned in beautiful ornaments. Visitors are encouraged to be in conservative clothing when visiting the temple. In a nutshell, while the temple may not rank as a ‘must-see’ site, it is definitely worth a visit if one is in that area.

How to Reach Wat Kaew Korawaram
People staying in Ao Nang (the lively tourist centre of Krabi) can use public vans to get to the temple for just about THB 50. Private taxi (costing around THB 500), round-trip taxi ride (costing roughly THB 800) and hiring a scooter (for about THB 250 to THB 300) are also some other options for people visiting the temple and other nearby sites from Ao Nang.
