2. Huay Tho Waterfall

Part of the Khao Phanom Bencha national park, the Huay Tho waterfall is a five-tiered cascading waterfall at its heart. With swimming pools at each tier and hiking during the summer months, the waterfall is a hub of tourist activities. Locals even arrange elephant tours of the park and waterfall. You can also choose to sunbathe on the little beach at the base of the pool. Easily accessible from the town of Krabi by Eco Bicycle Tours, the best time to visit is between August and October.

Located almost 70km away from Krabi Town, Hot Stream waterfall promises to be worth the effort take to reach it! Subterranean volcanic systems heat the water naturally as it comes out through openings in the earth's surface, giving Hot Stream Waterfalls its unique geothermal properties. The water in the hot pools are also believed to have healing properties and are another reason to enjoy a soak in its waters.

Nestled amongst a dense mangroves forest and lush rainforests, the trek to Khlong Chak Waterfall takes you through Krabi's diverse topography. Elephant safaris are also another attraction visitors can embark upon on their way towards these falls. The caves near the falls are a well-known haunt for bats and it is advisable to be wary of them while heading to Khlong Chak waterfalls.

5. Roi Chan Phan Wang Waterfall, Krabi

This multi-tiered waterfall gives visitors a reason to stop at every one of its many levels because each has a unique feel and draws tourists in to spend a little time. The name of the waterfall loosely translates to 'Hundred levels, Thousand Palaces' alluding to its many tiers and the beautiful nature of each of its cascading pools.

6. Khlong Haeng Waterfall

The water that gushes forth from the Khlong Haeng Waterfall originates in a small spring in Krabi's tallest mountain, Theo Bencha Peak. Snugly sat withing Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, the falls have a distinctly untouched and pristine feel to it.
