Tub Kaek Beach sits at the quiet northern end of the Ao Nang coast, backed by forested hills and looking out to the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay. It is a resort-and-restaurant stretch rather than a bar strip, so it suits travellers who want Krabi without the crowds. The water stays shallow a long way out, which makes it easy for swimming and wading. The Tab Kak Hang Nak (Dragon Crest) nature trail starts from the same road.
This undiscovered heaven of white sand and turquoise water of Andaman is ornamented with a gorgeous irregularly shaped island on all sides. One can explore the surrounding islands and take up adventurous eco-water sports, kayaking and relaxing in freshwater springs. Along the coast of this pristine beach, a few accommodations and some small restaurants offering local cuisine have come up in recent years. In spite of these few resorts, this place remains one of the quietest and most tranquil spots for a recreational holiday.
The misadventures of the Wolfpack all began in Thailand when the boisterous and motley group of American men travelled to “the land of smiles” to attend a wedding. The wedding was of Stu (Ed Helms) who was getting married to his fiancee Lauren (Jamie Chung), who was from Thailand. After going through a crazy Bachelor party leading to lots of mishaps in Bangkok, Stu, Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Phil (Bradley Cooper), along with Lauren’s brother Teddy (Mason Lee) finally make their way back, thanks to Mr Chow’s (Ken Jeong) boat. They, then head straight to Phulay Bay Resort on Tubkaek Beach, where the wedding was planned.
