Banna Park, Ishigaki Island Overview
A forested hill park just above the town with subtropical woodland, walking trails and an observation deck over the whole island. It doubles as the island's practical stargazing spot, which matters because the Ishigaki Astronomical Observatory's theatre is closed indefinitely and its main telescope is out of service. Free, and open at night.
