Day Trip to Kohama Island, Ishigaki Island Overview
A small sugarcane island where the Shuga-no-michi ridge road runs between the fields and Mount Ufudaki gives a 360 degree view over the whole Yaeyama group. Two hours on a bicycle covers all of it. Of the reachable islands this is the quietest, so take it if Taketomi sounds too busy and Iriomote too much of a commitment.
