The average temperatures in Flores are usually moderate and don’t vary much. The temperature varies little and has a lesser chance of rainfall throughout the year. However, the best time to visit Flores is from mid April to mid October, which is considered to be the dry season with very little rainfall and may also cause minor water problems in the region.
The mountainous part of the island, however, experiences rainfall in the mid-afternoon. The rainy season is from January to February which can make it very stormy and cause high waves, so it is not very safe and advisable to visit Flores Island during these months.
