Motiongate, Dubai Overview
If you are a die-hard fan of Hollywood movies, then the Motiongate theme park is a must-visit. Located in the Dubai Parks and Resorts, the Hollywood Inspired Theme Park has been designed and developed as per the famous movie studios like the Columbia Pictures Studios, DreamWorks Studios and the Lionsgate Studios.
When you enter the premises of Motiongate, you will feel as if you have been teleported to the different movie sets of many famous Hollywood movies, allowing you to take a glimpse into how some of the best scenes of these movies were shot. Zones
The Motiongate Theme Park has been divided into four different zones apart from the Studio Central area. Throughout these zones, you will come across roller coaster rides, 4D motion simulators, play zones and rides meant for families and kids. To begin with, the following are the zones of Motiongate Theme Park:
1. Columbia Pictures Studio Zone Comprising of a total of seven attractions, the Columbia Pictures Zone will surely give you goosebumps while you tour around the premises of some of the creepiest characters of Hollywood.
2. DreamWorks Studio Zone With around fourteen attractions present only within the DreamWorks Studio Zone, and characters from Hollywood movies such as Shrek, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda welcome you at the entrance gate of the Zone, you can be sure to have loads of fun and frolic while you explore the Zone.
3. Lionsgate Studio Zone The third Zone of Motiongate Theme Park is the LionsGate Studio Zone, which comprises of a total of three attractions. Be it taking an aerial tour of the beautiful city of Panem, or go for a swirling and twirling ride to the Capitol in the bullet train; the LionsGate Studio zone will give you both entertainment and memories.
4. Smurfs Village Zone Being the last Zone of Motiongate Theme Park, noticing different characters from the Hollywood movie Smurfs is a common thing at the Smurfs Village Zone. Enjoy attractions such as Smurfberry Factory, Woodland Play Park and the Smurfs Village Playhouse ride; you can also ride around the Smurf Village in the Smurf Village Express.
1. Flint’s Imagination Lab Location: Columbia Pictures Studio Zone. Explore through the cutting edge experiment setups present in the laboratory to invent something innovative out of your imagination!
2. Panem Aerial Tour Location: LionsGate Studio Zone. Buckle up your seats to hover across the city of Panem on a 4D motion simulator to experience an adventure like never before!
3. Smurfberry Factory Location: Smurfs Village Zone. Witness how Papa Smurf is preparing for the season of berries by taking an adventurous tour of the factory.
4. Woodland Play Park Location: Smurfs Village Zone. Unleash the child in you and go carefree while enjoying the different games and activities at the open-air Woodland Play Park.
5. Underworld Awakening Location: Columbia Pictures Studio Zone. Cross your fingers as you go on a centuries-old journey of the battle between the Vampires and the Lycans in this spine-chilling motion simulator ride. Since the show displays scenes of violence and bloodshed, it is advised to accompany your kids for this one for parental discretion.
6. Kung Fu Panda: Unstoppable Awesomeness Location: DreamWorks Studio Zone. Team up with the Dragon Warrior of Hollywood and his Furious Five to accomplish their legendary missions in this 4D motion simulator ride. Source

For those who feel lazy enough to go for any ride or any 4D motion simulator ride, Motiongate Dubai has another option for you in the form of different amusing shows. Attending these shows, you will get time to relax for a bit while enjoying subsequently.
1. Step Up Dubai, All In! Location: Lionsgate Studio Zone. Amidst high energy music and dance concerts inspired by the recent instalments in Step Up movie sequels, tap your feet to the ground in rhythm with some of the hottest hip–hop dancers and hypnotising musical beats!
2. Kung Fu Panda Academy Location: DreamWorks Studio Zone. For those who have always wished to learn the killer moves of Kung Fu, the Kung Fu Panda Academy is a must-visit place for you. Who would want to miss an opportunity where, none other than, Master Shifu is the trainer!

How to Reach Motiongate Dubai
Motiongate Theme Park is situated at Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and lies close to the Dubai Parks and Resorts Headquarters Office. To reach the Theme Park, drive along the Sheikh Zayed Road and take the highway exit road towards the China State Construction Engineering Office. The same route further leads to Motiongate.
