Aquaventure Waterpark, Dubai Overview

One of the biggest water parks of Dubai, Aquaventure is located in the Atlantis hotel complex. This amazing water park offers a series of pools, shoots and flumes and a few thrilling rides. Adrenaline pumping Tower of Neptune and the equally exhilarating Tower of Poseidon are some of the key highlights of the park. Visitors can also relax at the Cabanas, have a nice meal at the various restaurants and shop some souvenirs at the many stores in the park.

The park houses the Country's longest river called Rapids that goes up to 2.8 kms, a private beach for visitors to relax after a long day at the park and other facilities like sunbeds, experiences like the Shark Safari if you wish to go 'safely' swim with the sharks, feeding the stingrays or even go zip lining 20m above the park as you fly through the compound.
Do note that many rides and attractions of the park have a strict height, weight and health restriction.

Rides at Aquaventure Water Park

With many record-breaking rides at the Aquaventure Water Park, we could only name the must-visit rides here.

The Leap of Faith: This is one of the steepest rides in the world at a great height of 27.5m.
The Shark Attack Slide: This slide lets you emerge from the shark lagoon.
The Surge Ride: This ride takes you on an epic water-coaster ride via numerous turns, tunnels which propel you to a full 360 degrees, not only are these adrenaline-filled and scary but also in the complete darkness at times which just makes it a whole lot interesting.
The Stinger: This ride is different from any other rides all over the world, because, in this ride, you're blasted upwards rather than going downwards, and are propelled via the inner tubes to the river.
The Aquaconda: Named the world's largest waterslide, after twisting and turning through various dark tunnels, you ill land onto the world's largest fibreglass tube!

These are the main rides, but there are still plenty for the entire family to enjoy. There is also the largest kids play structure in the region to entertain the kids as well as the family. Along with the usual waterpark setup, the River Rides, the Rapids, the Torrent Rivers, and many such areas keep you occupied the whole day.

Dress Code

Must wear only 'swimming' attire.
Regular diapers are not allowed into the pools. Only waterproof diapers are allowed which can be purchased at all shops in the park.

Rules & Regulations

Transport from your hotel to the park can be arranged if booked prior.
Visitors get complimentary life jackets when requested at the TowelRental Office. They are necessary for children under 1.2m tall and for weak/inexperienced swimmers.
All children under 1.2m must be withing arms reach of their parents or any adult in the group.
No sort of intoxication is allowed inside the park. You will not be allowed to enter the park if you're caught intoxicated.
The park rides are not allowed for pregnant women, people with neck, joint, and heart problems, or people whose physical conditions cross the height/weight limit.

How To Reach Aquaventure Waterpark

They do have a pick-up facility at additional cost if booked prior. Since it is located at the Atlantis, one can drive directly to the park.

By Ferry:
One will have to board a ferry at the Dubai Marina Mall marine Transport Station and take a 20-minute ferry ride to the Water park.

By Metro (13 kms):
'Nakheel' is the closest metro station. One can either walk (20 minutes) or they can take a cab which is just 5-10 minutes from the station.
