Wild Wadi Water Park, Dubai Overview

Wild Wadi Water Park is one of the best waterparks in Dubai. Located in front of the iconic Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi Water Park is themed around Juha, the character from the very popular folktale Arabian Nights. Apart from the rides, the water park also provides an excellent surfing experience.

The Jumeirah Sceirah is one of the park's most iconic attractions, featuring two tandem slides where riders experience an exhilarating drop at speeds of up to 80 km/h. The waterpark is also known for its unique water roller coasters called "Master Blasters," where riders can navigate through gravity-defying twists and turns. Wild Wadi's Breakers Bay is one of the largest wave pools in the Middle East, where visitors can ride the waves or simply relax on the sandy beach. Rides at Wild Wadi

The park offers some amazing rides for people of all ages to enjoy. It has a total of 3 pools, 30 rides, and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the most exhilarating rides are as follows:

1. Jumeirah Sceirah

This ride is one of the main reason many visit Wild Wadi. This is the tallest, fastest free-fall slide outside the Americas. One climbs the 32m tall tower and gets spectacular views of the Burj and the serene beach and at the top two capsules await your arrival at the top. You fall at a speed of 80km/h from the 120m tall slide!

2. Master Blaster

This is one of the fastest 'aquatic' roller coasters in the world. The excitement only gets better with Master Blaster that throws you 15m high up in the air. You can choose your very own favourite experience from a variety of like Falaj Fury, Jebel Lookout, Falcon Fury, Wadi Basher amongst many others.  

3. Burj Surj

This thrilling ride comprises of two large spiralling downhill water slides with a looming bowl and ends with you being splashed in a mini pool exclusive for this slide.

4. Tantrum Alley

Tantrum Alley comprises of waterslides and tornadoes. The downhill waterslide leads you into the first tornado where you go forward and backwards several times and then spin in circles after which you get into the next two tornados and finally fall into the pool.

5. Juha's Dhow and Lagoon

Juha's Dhow and Lagoon is one of the highlights for the kids and families. It is a family interactive water-play structure. It is a large colourful and vibrant area which beams with tonnes of kids activities, water guns, racing slides, there are even a few slides for babies, and a huge dumping bucket which tumbles water down every two minutes.

Surfing at Wild Wadi

The FlowRider is one of the four only to exist in the world. This is a simulated surf pool where keen surfers come to test their skills with waves varying in height. Visitors also try body-boarding and knee-boarding here.

Dress Code at Wild Wadi Waterpark

When on the rides and slides, visitors are not allowed to wear:
  • Only innerwear
  • Transparent or sheer bathing suits
  • Street clothes and long flowing clothes
  • Attire that has accessories that would harm fellow guests when in the pools or may damage slides
  • Regular diapers are not allowed. Swim diapers or water-proof diapers are allowed and can be purchased at the stores within the park.
  • No wearing spectacles or sunglasses when on the rides
  • Muslim swimwear like Burkini's are available at the stores in the park.

Things to Know Before Visiting Wild Wadi

  • Wear the swimming costumes at all times especially on the rides; you won't be allowed without one.
  • Several rides are harmful and thus are not recommended for pregnant women, the disabled people, and people with heart/back conditions.
  • All the rides have information/instructions in the queue.
  • No eatables, except for drinking water, are allowed inside the park.
  • Some of the rides allow people only above 1.1m. 

  • The instructions of lifeguards must be followed at all times especially when asked to wait before the start of the slide tub. 

  • The lifeguard must be allowed to make your seating arrangement before the start of any ride. 
Parents must accompany their kids under 13 years of age.

How To Reach Wild Wadi

The Wild Wadi Water Park is situated in front of the third tallest hotel in the world, Burj Al Arab, and the Jumeirah hotels. It is located on Jumeira Road, Umm Suqeim 3 - Dubai, which is very much located in the middle of the city, so getting here isn't a problem. But it isn't accessible by public transportation except for taxis.
