Pandawa Beach is a 1km stretch of white sand in south Bali, reached through a cliffside road cut through limestone hills lined with statues of the five Pandawa brothers from the Mahabharata, which is how the beach got its name and its older nickname, "Secret Beach." The water here is calmer than most of Bali's south coast beaches, so it's a better bet for swimming than surfing, with seaweed farming visible just offshore.
Named after the five Balinese Hindu heroes of the Pandawa Lima, Pandawa Beach is a quietude place. This beach is a cheerful and lively place always bustling with people located in the south of Bali. There are a number of water activities which you can indulge in to add fun to your trip. A number of food stalls serving scrumptious Balinese cuisines are also located in and around the beach. Make sure to treat your taste buds with palatable seafood. The gigantic waves and the white sand will entice you to visit this place and it would definitely be a delightful experience.
1. Swimming: The cold and shimmering water of Pandawa Beach is where you must take a dip in to relax your body. You will enjoy being in the water as it will make you feel refreshed. But be careful not to hurt yourself because there is a bed of rocks below the sea.
2. Paragliding: You can even indulge in paragliding here. You will feel as if you are flying while paragliding. This activity will add the element of thrill to your trip so make sure to indulge in it.
3. Kayaking: Kayaking is another water activity that you can explore in Pandawa Beach. You can paddle in the water and explore the island on your own while kayaking. This water activity might require a lot of energy but it will surely be worth the experience.
4. Surfing: If you are not a pro at surfing but still want to try your hand at it, water surfing is just the activity for you. This will be completely safe as the surfboat would be attached to a motorboat and all you have to worry about is maintaining your balance.
