Bangpra is one of the finest and the most advanced of the golf courses in Pattaya. It was built in 1958 as the first Golf course in Pattaya. It went on to being an associative project of Tourism Authority of Thailand and Japan Golf Professional taking the entire golf course layout, one notch higher. It was the first Golf tourism venture of Pattaya, making it a huge success. The golf course has a parkland environment with lush green lawns.

Designed by Americans Gary Panks and David Graham, Burapha golf club was initially a club operated by the members only. It has a beautiful setting which is laid out on hilly terrains with - lakes, hills, palms trees and tropical vegetation. The landscape is one of the most exotic ones you will find in Pattaya. Several professional tournaments have been held here. Like the 2010 Thailand Open and several Singha Thailand Championships. The highlight of this golf course is the well-placing of the holes.

This golf course in Pattaya was born out of the most popular tourist area of Thailand in 1995. It is partly named after its address that is the Khao Soi Dao Mountains. The course is surrounded by lakes, forest areas, mountains, creeks, and hardwood trees. The setting is entirely natural with no artificialities. 4. Crystal Bay Golf Club

Established in the year 1988, crystal bay golf course in Pattaya was initially named as Natural Park Resort and sometimes still identified by this name. The club has styled fairways and occasional link type holes.  It has natural green surroundings with water playing an integral boundary-type for the course. It is ascribed as a Hawaiian style resort as it is lined with palm trees. Bunkers also play an important role in play here. It is a decently designed resort by Thai Takenaka, but it does need some more maintenance to drive more tourists. It is also an economically viable course as compared to the others.

Spread across a 530-acre land, the eastern star country club and resort course are a beautiful course spread in between the residential areas of Pattaya. It is one of the five courses planned by Robert Trent Jones Jr. It has wide fairways, waterways and palm trees spread across. The undulating fairways and green surroundings feature 65 bunkers, 11 lakes and more than 2,200 coconut palms, making it a beautiful location and a perfect place to enjoy the game. It is also a link-styled course. There are age-old coconut trees and some mango trees defining the holes here, making targets highlighted and enhanced by areas filled with flowers.

6. Emerald Golf Club

Earlier called Ban Chang; Emerald Golf club is located amidst the mountainous zones just outside of Rayong. It is a real country-style golf course in Pattaya and one of the lesser-known in Pattaya. Nick Faldo & Desmond Muirhead designed it in 1995. The area is a magnificent rainforest zone with a lot of mature trees. It is supposed to be one of the most challenging golf courses in Pattaya by some of the most professional golfers due to its water placements and contoured fairways. It may not be as luxurious as the other club resorts, but it does have the necessary facilities. The scenery and intricate design attract many people to put their golf skills to test here.

Designed by Peter Thomson, five times British Open champion, and Michael Wolverine, Greenwood in 1993, Greenwood Golf and resort has an exotically planned course making use of the fauna and extensive landscaping here. It is a scenic setting with and an exotic layout with lightly tree-lined holes. An original mix of pot bunkers and clover-leaf sand traps are placed around the greenery here, making the play challenging as well as enjoyable at the same time. 8. King Naga Golf Club

Initially called the Century Golf & Country Club, and Nick Faldo designed great Lake Golf Club in 1998. It is a flattish course designed amidst jungle-lined fairways and bunkers. There are no water hazards here, and the area to play is decently large. The course is very well-maintained. The best time to play here is during the dry seasons to make the best shots. The services provided here are enough to have a comfortable and enjoyable game. It is an old golf course, but it has been updated and looked into from time to time.
