Ton Chong Fa Waterfall, Khao Lak Overview

Tong Chong Fa Waterfall is located within the Khao Sok National Park and is enveloped by beautiful countryside and mountains. Renowned as the “Free Natural Showers,” Tong Chong Fa Waterfall is a stunning waterfall with multiple swimming pools, perfect for taking a break from the summer heat and going swimming.

This five-level waterfall is located 7 kilometers off the Bang Niang main road and boasts a trekking trail that is steep, uneven, and difficult. Along with checking out the Tong Chong Fa Waterfall in Khao Sok National Park, visitors can explore many other waterfalls nestled within the park.

Tips While Visiting Ton Chong Fa Waterfall

  1. As you walk around the waterfall, be mindful of the slippery rocks.
  2. As there is trekking involved, be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry a bug or a mosquito repellent.
  3. Carry bathing suits, swimming trunks, and also a bottle of water. But keep in mind about the Thai culture and respect it. Don’t wear provocative bathing suits.
  4. During monsoon season, which is August to November, the park can get very muddy and slippery.
  5. Littering is not allowed. So carry a bag to dispose of garbage.

How to Reach Ton Chong Fa Waterfall

You must reach the entrance of the national park. There are multiple signs placed in front of the night club, Zantika. Further down 7 kilometres from Bang Niang off the main road, you will find an entrance with a parking facility and entrance hut.

To reach here, visitors can either take a taxi from their hotel, cycle their way, or rent a scooter/motorbike.
