Wichita Falls, the name of the city and the falls is an artificial man-made waterfall in Lucy Park. Built after the floods of 1800 washed away the original falls, this cascading three tiered falls is 54 feet high and a 2 hour drive from Dallas. Cattail Falls is an 80 feet tall waterfall amidst the Chisos Mountains. It is located, in the Cattail Canyon, in the Big Bend National Park.
