What is the best time to visit Shirdi?

The best time to visit Shirdi is between June and February, i.e. during the monsoons (June to September) and the winter season (October to February). Shirdi is mostly visited for religious purposes, primarily to offer prayers at the famed Shirdi Sai Baba Temple. The climate during these months stays quite bearable for tourists. Shirdi in Monsoon (June - September)

Shirdi witnesses medium to heavy rainfall between June and September. Although the average annual rainfall is about 480 mm, July and August are peak monsoon months which can make exploring the town a little inconvenient. The beginning of the season and the end, however, provide a pleasant environment with light to medium showers and can be appropriate for sightseeing. The annual celebration of Guru Purnima which is celebrated in July is also quite a crowd puller. Shirdi in Summer (March - May)

Between March and May are summer months in Shirdi. The temperature soars as high as 42°C while the minimum hovers around 27°C. The blazing sun makes sightseeing an exhaustive task. Summers, therefore, are not recommended to the tourists, but some devotees are drawn to the town on the occasion of Ramnavami. It is celebrated every year in March or April, and one can get to witness the grand celebrations with processions, prayer rituals, devotional songs, Qawali programs etc. which are unique to the town.
