Every year the campground does its best to make every effort to provide safe swimming chances by ensuring that they test the water and by keeping lifeguards ready by the swimming areas. A few additional facilities at the park include a park office, a camp store, and a centrally located phone. The park is extremely safe as it is patrolled by the New York State Park Police and is extremely well maintained as it has a large recycling program.
