Atomic Bomb Hypocenter Park, Nagasaki Overview
A black granite column marking the point 500 metres below which the bomb detonated, with a preserved section of the original Urakami Cathedral wall standing beside it and a cut-away showing the 1945 soil layer still full of debris. It is free, and it is administratively separate from the Peace Park up the hill, though people often assume they are the same place.
