Murshidabad in Winter (October - March)

Winter is the peak season for tourists travelling to Murshidabad. October to March is the time when hotel prices rise because the weather is pleasant. The most important festivals of Bengal, Durga Puja and Kali Puja fall during this period. During Durga Puja, the whole city is decorated with Pandals and idols of Maa Durga everywhere.
