It is an on-going city model show that utilizes satellite imagery to ensure the accuracy of the model. The model boasts of more than 5000 buildings which were all hand assembled into perfection. It also makes effective use of light and sound as they showcase the past, present, and future of Kuala Lumpur.
KL Reflection: The KL Reflection is located on the second floor of the City Gallery and is a great way to have fun while discovering the city. An exciting and mesmerizing place for all the selfie enthusiasts out there!
ARCH Do-It-Yourself Workshop: Visitors can create their own masterpiece by using various miniature models and pieces to create their own souvenirs. However, DIY is subject to availability and visitors must contact them to ensure availability.
How to Reach Kuala Lumpur City Gallery
The Kuala Lumpur City Gallery is a five-minute walk from the Central Market.
Board the Light Rapid Transit (LRT) and deboard at Masjid Jamek Station, from there; it’s just a seven-minute walk to the City Gallery.
The KL Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour bus is also en route to the City Gallery.
Alternatively, any taxi around town can drop you off at Dataran Merdeka.
