National Textile Museum, Kuala Lumpur Overview

The most significant heritage landmark of Kuala Lumpur, National Textile Museum is situated in Merdeka Square and has some magnificent textile collections, accessories and classic apparels. The museum also exhibits the methodology and technology of textile manufacturing. Two storey building with four different galleries showcases elegant Mughal- Islamic heritage in architecture and textile artefacts.

How to Reach the National Textile Museum?

Go KL City Bus: Board red line of Go KL City bus from KL Sentral destined to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Get off the bus at Dataran Merdeka for a walk towards the National Textile Museum.

Light Rail Transit (LRT): Take either the Kelana Jaya line or Ampang line to reach the nearest LRT station from the museum, Masjid Jamek. The national textile museum is just 10 minutes' walk away from Masjid Jamek LRT station.
