What is the best time to visit Kausani?

The hill station of Kausani is best when visited from April - June and October - February. However, its geographic location, perched on a densely vegetated ridge, plays a significant role in drawing many tourists from April until the end of June. Kausani in Summer (March-May)

Kausani in Monsoon (June-August)

The Monsoon Season is considered as the off-season to visit Kausani. It begins in June and lasts till September. Although the place receives a moderate amount of rainfall which transforms the terrain into a lush paradise, there are high chances of cloudburst and landslides. These natural calamities mostly occur during the peak season, i.e. between July and August and could prove to be life-threatening. The rains also affect sightseeing to a great extent as the climate remains cloudy, foggy and damp. Therefore, visiting Kasauli during this time of the year is not highly recommended to tourists.
