Winters in Ranikhet can get extremely cold, with the mercury level rarely rising above 15 degree Celsius, and the minimum temperature being -3 degree Celsius. Usually starting from October and remaining till the end of february, winter months in this region welcomes large crowds of people who come to witness the magical snowfall and head out for the numerous adventure activities, along with sightseeing. The weather during the early winter months of September, October and November is pleasant and this is also a good time to visit Ranikhet. 
If you are taking a trip to this place during these months, make sure to Kalika, Golf Course, Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum, Mankameshwar Temple, and Manila. Ranikhet in Monsoon (July - August)

Ranikhet can be visited in the early months of July, but it receives heavy rainfall during the months of July and August and it is advisable not to travel during these months as your plans might get hindered due to the rain. The temperatures usually range between 22 degree Celsius and 29 degree Celsius. The early weeks of July are a good time to set out for a trip to this beautiful city, but as the weeks pass by, the region starts experiencing heavier rainfall almost every passing day. If you have included some outdoor activities in your itinerary, then it is best to stay away from this place during these months. Ranikhet in Summer (March - June)

With an average temperature that usually stays between 10 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius, summers, which begin from March until June, are the best time to plan a trip to Ranikhet. The pleasant climatic conditions paired with vibrant flowers in full bloom work as icing on the cake. This is also an ideal time for sightseeing. However, since it's also a peak season, it can be a little crowded. To explore Ranikhet at its best, make sure to head out to the Chaubatia Orchards, Jhula Devi Temple, Majkhali, and Dwarahat. The last site is peppered with magnificent temples which date back to several decades. The Sunset Point is also one of the famous sites at this place owing to the panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas as they are painted with vermilion while the sun goes down.
