Aberdeen Floating Village

Aberdeen Floating Village, Hong Kong Overview

The Aberdeen Floating Village is located in the Aberdeen Harbour of Southern Hong Kong. Even though the village is home to over 600 piles of junk and a population of around 6000, it attracts huge amounts of visitors owing to the beautiful scenery and delicious seafood. Stationed in the premises of the massive Ocean Park of Hong Kong, Aberdeen Floating Village is home to breathtaking bridges and harbours apart from its wholesale fish market and the enticing Jumbo Floating Restaurant.

The charming village perfectly contrasts the city of Hong Kong in its environmental and cultural aspects. it happens to be the first place the British set foot on when they arrived in Hong Kong. Home to the boat-dwelling Tanka peole, Aberdeeb Floating Village is known for the Dragon Boat Race, the unique boat restaurants, scrumptious seafood
and the sampan boats. The perfect time to visit the Aberdeen village is early in the morning on a weekday when the streets are not crowded.
