Talpona Beach, Goa Overview
Talpona Beach is located the Canacona region of South Goa, near the Galgibaga Beach and Rajbag Beach. It is one of the few beaches in Goa which is not visited by the crowd of tourists. With a kilometre long shoreline, pure golden sands populate the beach, framed by swaying palm and pine trees. This beach is ideal for people looking for absolute isolation and peace.
As this beach opened up to tourists a couple of years ago, there is not much in terms of seaside amusement at Talpona Beach. There are one or two beach shacks offering basic drinks and snacks. To the north of Talpona Beach, one can see the convergence of the Talpona river with the Arabian Sea. A variety of bird species can be seen resting by the Talpona River. Talpona beach is shrouded with a woody cover from all sides except the sea, making it quite the natural wonderland.
