You get buses from Bhuj to Rapar, which is the nearest major town to Dholavira and takes about five hours to reach. From Rapar, you get government run and private buses to Dholavira which takes another three hours. The buses are available from early morning to late evening.

There is no direct rail connectivity to Dholavira. Bhuj railway station is the nearest railway station to the site, 219 km away from the same. Taxis can be hired from the railway station to travel to Bhuj. Stations like Samkhiala Junction and Bhachau are very close to Rapar. All the Bhuj bound trains from different parts of India stop here. From these stations, you can get a bus to Rapar and then to Dholavira.
