Jain Society Of North Texas, Dallas Overview
The Jain Society of North Texas (JSNT) established in 1982, is a non-profit organization that strives to promote principles and practices of Jainism. Its temple, Derasar is a self-contained Chaityalaya where religious and educational activities weekly are hosted. Jain scholars, monks, and dignitaries provide discourses to help in learning and practicing of Jain philosophy. Facilities of the temple also include a prayer and meeting Hall, a kitchen, a pathshala room, and a library that are accessible to the members of the society any time of the day.
