Texas Discovery Gardens, Dallas Overview

Texas Discovery Gardens is located inside Dallas’ Fair Park and works with a mission of discovering ways to sustain the natural world. This 7.5-acre garden contains both native and exotic plants. The highlight of Texas Discovery Gardens is the two-story Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium.

Texas Discovery Gardens organizes various educational programs like the EarthKeepers student educational program. It also has an art gallery called The Discovery Art Gallery that aims at educating about the environment through art. The visitors can also book a butterfly release to honor a loved one. Additionally, there are various scout programs, field trips, and occasional events that one becomes a part of to get the most of their visit.
