The good market is one of the exciting local markets in Colombo, where local people set up small shops and sell mostly food items. It is a small cheerful market set up every Saturday and is known to sell locally produced organic goods. Here you can buy fresh organic fruits and vegetables, king coconuts, pure bee's honey, kithul jaggery, body care, and home care products.

The Good Market is a platform for social enterprises, responsible businesses, and change-makers with an aim to create an economy that is good for the planet by serving organic products. It has a closed courtyard and is also used for meetups and community events. This is the nearest thing Colombo has to other countries' famous farmers' markets.

The good market has about 70-80 approved vendors. By approved, we mean every vendor must ensure that the products they are selling are all organic i.e, good for nature and good for people. It is frequented by the better-off since the prices here are slightly high as the products are organic and pesticide free. There is also a community deli with coffee, tea, juices, smoothies, ready-to-eat, and desserts from the Good Market community. Apart from food items, you will find ethical fashion, toys, home and garden supplies, massage, live music, kids programs & more.
