Bolgoda Lake, Colombo Overview
Located a little less than an hour’s drive from Colombo, Bolgoda Lake is known as the largest freshwater lake in Sri Lanka’s Western Province. It has a northern and a southern basin joined by the Bolgoda River, and the water reaches the sea through an estuary at Panadura.
