1. Medhufaru

Depth: 29m
Boat time: 20 min

A Maldivian cargo vessel that sank during the southwest monsoon storm in 2009. It is present on the sea bed in Mount Lavinia, Colombo. It is now a home to many grouper fish, tuna and moray eel.

2. Cargo Wreck

Depth: 33m

The MV Pecheur Breton, A French vessel that founded in 1994 while carrying scrap to india now housed by numerous colorful fishes and other aquatic creatures.

3. Nilgiri Drug

Depth: 32m
Boat time: 45min

A harbor tugboat that floundered in a storm in 1997 while trying to assist another ship. Coral growth is healthy and fish life profuse as with most wrecks in colombo.

4. Palagala

Depth 34m
Boat time 35 min

It is just 800m from the beach and is a rocky ridge parallel to the shore with an abundance of nudibranchs, scorpionfish, pipefish and octopi. The seaward edge of the reef is covered in small sea fans, lobsters and stingrays can be found under ledges or overhangs.
