How to Reach Tegal Wangi Beach

The Tegal Wangi beach is located in the Jimbaran area, with fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. It takes about an hour and a half to reach the beach from Canggu which is only accessible only by road. You may choose to either take the taxi or rent scooters.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit the Tegal Wangi Beach is before sunset and what is popularly called as the ‘blue hour’, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If you wish to avoid the crowds, visit at noon early afternoon.

1. Don’t hesitate to explore the beach and the surrounding regions. However, due to the uneven topography and absence of any lifeguards, visitors should exercise caution while on the beach, near the hills or cliff areas. 2. Swimming might be slightly hazardous due to the bed of rocks and strong water currents, however rock pools offer a nice respite!.
