Pemuteran Beach, Bali Overview

Things to Do

Diving and Snorkelling are the most common activities on Pemuteran Beach. There is excellent visibility and an abundance of turtles, fish, reef and corals.

The Biorock and Coral Reef is a very rare spectacle and can be explored for free on Pemuteran Beach. The reef is extensive and will easily take up an entire day. You can hire goggles and snorkel into the water at specific, marked locations along the beach. Make sure you explore the enchanting underwater Temple Garden.

Other popular dive sites are Close Encounters, Rock Garden, Canyon Wreck and Deep Reef. The hotels in this area also organise early morning dolphin watching boat trips. Fishing is another activity that can be taken up here. The surrounding hills and mountains offer plenty of hiking opportunities.

How To Reach Pemuteran Beach

Pemuteran Beach is located in the northwest corner of Bali. The best and most convenient way to reach this beach is by hiring a car from wherever you are in Bali.
It is roughly a four-and-a-half-hour drive from the Denpasar Airport.
Pemuteran is also served by buses in the Gilimanuk - Lovina - Singaraja route. Once you reach Pemuteran, you can get around by bicycles.
It is also a great place to walk around.
Alternatively, you can rent a motorbike from your place of accommodation.
