Air Terjun Yeh Mampeh, Bali Overview
Located in Tejakula district in Buleleng, Yeh Mapeh waterfalls provide a rejuvenating experience to visitors. The 40-metre high gushing waterfall falls into a pool where one can take a plunge, while the surrounding lush greenery adds to the scenic beauty. Little warungs or cafes are lined outside for some snacks as well.
One of Bali's highest waterfalls, reaching the Yeh Mapeh waterfalls is a little difficult as access infrastructure such as roads leading to the falls are not well-developed. Visitors reaching the falls using a car will have to park it at a carpark almost 2 km away and must walk the rest of the distance. The Mampeh region is prone to the occasional landslide and therefore it is advisable to hire a guide to take you to the waterfalls safely.
