Focusing on the $500 million theft at Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in 1990, this outdoor event will place the  participants amidst the robbery itself, providing each one with a clue about the robber.

As they move around the 5 locations, they will come across a psychopath, con men, criminals, art-recovery specialists, an “inside” man and the “Greatest Art Thief of all Time.”

11. Art at the Park

Art at the Park is an initiative by the Coral Gables Museum, held at Ingraham Park, focusing on various mediums of art including drawing, photography and painting. These classes are held in a serene environment, under trees, and aim to promote the greenery of the Museum gardens. The classes you can register for are Fundamentals of Photography, Fundamentals of Drawing, Abstract Photography and Landscape Oil Painting.

Open to members and non-members, all participants will be guided by trained instructors and will be put in classes of 10.

An excellent opportunity for parents to engage with their children, Art Outside Family Day by The Bass Museum of Art focuses on conversation and experimentation through art. Held at Collins Park and online, its highlights include a 3-D sculpture class inspired by the “What Remains” exhibit, a virtual “Art Hunt” of the galleries and a “Design Challenge” to make art from household items.

In fact, the exhibit sheds light on the impact of Felix Gonzalez-Torres’ on the art community. For those participating online, they can do so through the museum’s YouTube channel.
