  • Dress availability (Dress code and rentals): There are shops and changing rooms to buy swimsuits and dress in them respectively. Locker rooms are charged for a slightly expensive rate. There are multiple souvenir shops located around to collect goodies, souvenirs, merchandizes and food.

Iceland is the largest waterpark in the UAE and located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Equipped with basic amenities and over 30 slides. Apart from having a wave pool and kids? pool, Iceland also has an Olympic sized pool and a private beach.

  • Timings (Considering Seasons and Weekend) - Iceland is closed during the holy month of Ramadan but usually, the timings are from 10 am to 6 pm all days of the week. The timings may differ during the busy weekends or the Eid holidays and the changed timings will be put up on their official site.

  • How to reach via bus, car and taxi or boat: Since this waterpark is situated in Ras Al Khaimah, i.e another emirate altogether, there is no convenient/inexpensive way to get here. One could of course travel by taxi, however that would be ridiculously expensive. If you're traveling from Dubai, take a metro to get to the Union Station, and get a bus that goes to RAK from the union bus station. Then get a taxi from there to Iceland.





5. Dreamland

Regarded as one of the first and largest waterparks in the Middle East and still remains to be one of the largest. It is ideal for a day out with a family. Most of the rides here are constructed for the families and so the thrill-factor might be a little less but that wouldn't compromise the fun involved!

Ticket Price: The general admission rate is AED 160 (approx. INR 2957) Infants are allowed in for free, those above 65+ years of age and those under 1.2m height are charged AED 100 for the entry fees ( approx. INR 1848)

Dress Code and Rentals: Dreamland has multiple retail outlets for one to shop for swimwear and other related items. The locker charges are absolutely free but are taken on the basis of first-come-first-serve.

Timings: The Park is open all days of the week from 10:00 am- 6:00 pm, but on Fridays it open from 10am-7pm (April, May, and September) and 10 am-8pm (June, July, August). During the holy month of Ramadan, the park is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Popular Slides: There are many rides at dreamland that offer an exuberant experience such as rides like the black hole, twisting dragons, kamikaze etc. It also has dedicated pools and kids' areas as well as pool-bars, and different restaurants.

6. Splash N Party

Although there is plenty of fun to be had by adults here, Splash n Party is specially made for children between the ages of two and ten years. It's a wonderful location for children's parties and the waterpark is incredibly accommodating for large groups.

It's a bright, colourful and safe place for children to run around and make the most of the park's water rides. Special care has been taken as the water heights are restricted to waist level and the rides are designed for shorter heights than average parks.

7. Ice Land Water Park

As the name suggests, Ice Land Water Park follows an ice-theme, making it a lovely place to beat the heat of Dubai. It is located at Ras Al Khaimah which is an hour drive away from Dubai. Ice Land Water Park has fifteen rides, a family pool, access to a beach and an entertainment team that take complete care of entertaining young ones in the park.

It has a beautiful view of the Hajar Mountains to the east which make for astounding sunsets. The park is over 100,000 square metres.
