Aquaventure has become a landmark in the Dubai Tourism with many people flying down to Dubai especially for Aquaventure. It has found its place in the ranking of the best waterparks in the world consistently, recently by bagging third position in the Top 25 Water Parks in the world (TripAdvisor's Travellers Choice Awards) What makes this waterpark so great is because of its innovative waterslides, one of a kind rides and attractions and of course extreme slides for the thrill-seekers.   • Ticket price and entry fees: For guests below the 1.2 meters the entry fees is AED 225 (approx. INR 4132) whereas for the ones above, is AED 275 (approx. INR 5,049). Kids under the age of 2 are allowed in for free.

  • How to reach via bus, car and taxi or boat: The nearest metro station to Aquaventure is the Nakheel station. The park is about 20 minutes away from the station. One can take a taxi from there. Moreover, one could take a taxi from anywhere in Dubai to get to Aquavehture, at Atlantis.

2. Wild Wadi Water Park

A personal favorite, Wild Wadi is one of the first waterparks in the emirate of Dubai and overlooks the magnificent Burj al Arab and the Umm Sequim beach. It has a total of 30 slides for the whole family to enjoy.

  • Ticket price and entry fees: Just like every other waterpark in the region, Wild Wadi too has the rates fixed according to the height of the audience. The general entrance fees is AED 336 per person (approx. INR 6195) if one book online through their official website the general fees is AED 270 (approx. INR 4978) The admission fees for people with height below 1.1 m is AED 284 (approx. 5237) and the fees through online booking would be AED 220 (approx. 4042)

  • Dress availability: Renting a locker would charge from AED 48-AED 90 depending on the sizes. Towels can also be rented at the rate of AED 42 per person. There are four retail outlets inside the waterpark which provides a wide range of merchandise, swimwear, t-shirts, souvenirs, towels, swimming equipment, etc

  • The popular slides in the parks: Wild Wadi has one of the widest and most extensive selections of rides in the region. It has rides suitable for anyone and everyone. For the ones who wish for an adrenaline rush, rides like Tantrum Alley and Burj Surj are great options. One of the biggest attractions is the Wipeout Flowriders which is one of the only four such rides in the world which provide an authentic and an ultimate experience of surfing.

Choice Award, Yas Waterworld which is situated at Yas Island certainly is something that adrenaline junkies need to see ASAP. There are in total over 40 rides, with many being its one of a kind in the world. Experience one of the largest waterparks and one of the most awarded waterparks in the world!

  • Ticket price and entry fees: By booking online, one has to pay only AED 210 (approx. INR 3876) for an entire day inside the park.

  • Dress availability (Dress code and rentals): There are shops and changing rooms to buy swimsuits and dress in them respectively. Locker rooms are charged for a slightly expensive rate. There are multiple souvenir shops located around to collect goodies, souvenirs, merchandizes and food.

  • Timings- The park is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the months of November to February. And from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm during the months of March to May. From June to August the park is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm during the months of September and October. Ladies nights is celebrated every Thursday from March 8-October 18 (excluding the holy month of Ramadan) from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. On these Thursdays the park operates from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for others.

  • The popular slides in the parks- Yas has some of the greatest slides for the adventure lovers. Having more than 40 slides and other major attractions Yas makes sure there is something for everyone. It has the world's largest surfing sheet wave (The Bubble Barrel), and the Middle East's longest rollercoaster (The Bandit Bomber). Jebel Drop is perhaps the most iconic waterslide here, owing to the steep, monstrous drop providing a kind of thrill you've never experienced before, certainly not for the faint-hearted. Liwa loop, falcon Falaj, and Hamools Humps are other popular high-powered famous slides.

  • How to reach via bus, car and taxi or boat: The most convenient way to get to the Yas island is by taxi, albeit a bit expensive. There are buses that do go from Dubai to Yas, but it depends on your location and it may not be very convenient. Iceland is the largest waterpark in the UAE and located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Equipped with basic amenities and over 30 slides. Apart from having a wave pool and kids? pool, Iceland also has an Olympic sized pool and a private beach.

  • Ticket price and entry fees: the general entry ticket for people above 1.2m height is AED 90 and children below 80 cm are allowed for free.

  • Timings (Considering Seasons and Weekend) - Iceland is closed during the holy month of Ramadan but usually, the timings are from 10 am to 6 pm all days of the week. The timings may differ during the busy weekends or the Eid holidays and the changed timings will be put up on their official site.

  • The popular slides in the parks: The kids? clove attracts children of all ages to experience this fun area with small slides and shallow waters. Mount attack is for the adventure lovers, claimed to be one of the tallest waterpark slides in the region, the mount attack comprises of 3 slides with varying structures to provide a different experience in every slide.

  • How to reach via bus, car and taxi or boat: Since this waterpark is situated in Ras Al Khaimah, i.e another emirate altogether, there is no convenient/inexpensive way to get here. One could of course travel by taxi, however that would be ridiculously expensive. If you're traveling from Dubai, take a metro to get to the Union Station, and get a bus that goes to RAK from the union bus station. Then get a taxi from there to Iceland.

5. Dreamland

Regarded as one of the first and largest waterparks in the Middle East and still remains to be one of the largest. It is ideal for a day out with a family. Most of the rides here are constructed for the families and so the thrill-factor might be a little less but that wouldn't compromise the fun involved!

Ticket Price: The general admission rate is AED 160 (approx. INR 2957) Infants are allowed in for free, those above 65+ years of age and those under 1.2m height are charged AED 100 for the entry fees ( approx. INR 1848)

Dress Code and Rentals: Dreamland has multiple retail outlets for one to shop for swimwear and other related items. The locker charges are absolutely free but are taken on the basis of first-come-first-serve.

Timings: The Park is open all days of the week from 10:00 am- 6:00 pm, but on Fridays it open from 10am-7pm (April, May, and September) and 10 am-8pm (June, July, August). During the holy month of Ramadan, the park is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Popular Slides: There are many rides at dreamland that offer an exuberant experience such as rides like the black hole, twisting dragons, kamikaze etc. It also has dedicated pools and kids' areas as well as pool-bars, and different restaurants.

6. Splash N Party

Although there is plenty of fun to be had by adults here, Splash n Party is specially made for children between the ages of two and ten years. It's a wonderful location for children's parties and the waterpark is incredibly accommodating for large groups.

It's a bright, colourful and safe place for children to run around and make the most of the park's water rides. Special care has been taken as the water heights are restricted to waist level and the rides are designed for shorter heights than average parks.

7. Ice Land Water Park

As the name suggests, Ice Land Water Park follows an ice-theme, making it a lovely place to beat the heat of Dubai. It is located at Ras Al Khaimah which is an hour drive away from Dubai. Ice Land Water Park has fifteen rides, a family pool, access to a beach and an entertainment team that take complete care of entertaining young ones in the park.

It has a beautiful view of the Hajar Mountains to the east which make for astounding sunsets. The park is over 100,000 square metres.

8. Laguna Water Park

Laguna Water Park is one of the newest water parks in Dubai, located at La Mer Hotel with it's beautiful beachfront and promenade. This water park includes four zones (Surf, Relax, Slide and Splash) to ensure a great time for all. It has five main rides, a pool lounge, a lazy river, and a special children's zone.
