Telangana is mostly warm through the year except for a couple of months in winters. Most tourists visit Telangana during October to March as the mercury is slightly low during this time and the pleasant weather makes for an excellent opportunity to explore the city of Nizams.
Between March to October, Telangana experiences extreme summers with the temperature going as high as 45 to 47 degrees Celcius. Apart from the heat, the humidity during this time is also at an all-time high.
From mid-June to October, Monsoon brings relief to the locals from the massive heat and humidity. Since it rains heavily here, fewer tourists can be spotted during monsoon.
Winters arrive in Telangana in November and stay until February. The temperature during this time varies between the range of 13 to 25 degrees Celcius. January is usually the coldest month of the season.

Bathukamma Festival is an annual celebration in Telangana that goes on for nine days. Celebrated during September - October, according to the Gregorian calendar, its timing collides with that of the festival of Navratri. The festival is filled with many colourful exotic flowers of the region and symbolises the collective spirit of the people of Telangana.
