The Cambodia Landmine Museum and Relief Facility is a museum located in Angkor National Park close to Banteay Srey Temple complex in Siem Reap, Cambodia. As a result of decades of wars, including the Khmer Rouge regime and genocide, American and Vietnamese occupations, there were millions of undetonated landmines spread across the country. Plenty of them are still active in all parts of the country, due to which hundreds of civilians are injured or killed every day.
The Cambodia Landmine Museum displays an exclusive collection of these landmines and other weapons used during war periods, educating the visitors the importance of clearing mines in Cambodia. You get to know about the history and impact of these mines in the Museum. It is one of the recommended places to include while visiting Angkor Park.
