Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre (BBC) is an interactive butterfly zoo located near Siem Reap in Cambodia. It is the largest butterfly enclosure centre in SE Asia and is one of the top attractions for visitors in Siem Reap. Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre was established in 2009. It was founded as a part of Concert project, an initiative for the conservation of local wildlife and developing responsible tourism. Also known as Angkor Butterfly Center, this netted tropical garden is home to thousands of butterflies, many of which are farmed to be exported to other countries.
During the high season, tens of thousands of butterflies can be found in this garden, which is a beautiful sight for the tourists. The farm provides training for individuals on commercial butterfly farming.
