Have gone to rameshwaram -at that time from vadakkanikapuram( station at vadavannur)( palakkad) there was a train to madurai guess we went to rameshwaram also by the same train-'I dont know how far (Read More)the train from vadakkanikapuram( palakkad)( vadavannur) goes to now maybe it ends at madurai maybe will have to make other arrangements from madurai

Take a bus from Temple and reach Dhanushkodi. From there take a matador type car which costs around 150-160 INR head. Though a new road is under construction and hopefully will be operational by ne (Read More)xt year. Please visit the place early in the day to avoid the heat over the sands. The water and other stuffs near beach are a bit expensive.

It's just next to the temple gate. Near to the ghat launch service is there. For about 30 minutes it takes 60 INR and is open till 5-5:30pm. And from religious angle bath at this ghat is a must. Ne (Read More)xt to the ghat Changing rooms for women are available at a very reasonable cost. Lockers for keeping ur bags are available on minimum charge of 10INR.

Just 15km from the main temple area. Take a bus or book any car or auto. Just do a research about the train timings crossing the bridge and be available much before the time with your camera. Besi (Read More)des the bridge, the fishing boats on the water looks damn beautiful.
