Shaheed Smarak, Lucknow Overview
Shaheed Smarak or Martyrs' Memorial is a white marbled pillar-like structure standing amidst lush green lawns at Mukarimnagar, Qaiserbagh in Lucknow.
Established in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives during the 1857 War of Indian Independence, this significant pillar was built in the 1970s. There are also boating facilities in the nearby Gomti river. The memorial also has stone stairs for seating within the premises.
