Will Rogers State Historic Park, Los Angeles Overview

The Will Rogers State Historic Park was founded on the grounds of the ranch owned by Will Rogers in 1944. The ranch, owned by the once famous Hollywood star of the 1930s, has a 31 room mansion amongst the sprawling 186 acre property in the Pacific Palisades. The mansion has guided tours scheduled on an hourly basis, where visitors get a glimpse of the lavish facilities enjoyed by the Rogers family. The property is famous for housing the only outdoor grass polo field in Los Angeles County. The park is also popular for guests looking to enjoy a horseback ride across the various trails located in the park. Regular horse riding classes are also conducted for both kids and adults on the park grounds.
