Nada Sake District, Kobe Overview
Nada produces something like 45 percent of all Japanese sake, and several of the big breweries run museums with tasting attached. They are free, which is the part people do not expect. Hakutsuru is the one to pick for a first visit: five minutes from Sumiyoshi station, with English signage. The breweries are spread across several stations rather than along one street.
