Yoshino Park, Kagoshima Overview
A hilltop park north of the city with more than 800 cherry trees and an elevated view across the bay to Sakurajima, which makes it the best hanami spot in Kagoshima. Be clear that it is strongly seasonal: early April is the window, and outside it this is a pleasant municipal park rather than a reason to make the trip.
