Located in Hoi An's ancient Old Quarter, the Tan Ky House is an unrestored five-generation family home of a wealthy merchant in the late 1890s. Built around open courtyards, the heritage building displays exceptionally preserved Japanese and Chinese architecture, homeware from 200 years ago, and remnants of equipment used in erstwhile agricultural trade. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the antiques-filled rooms and buy souvenirs from the onsite gift shop.
