Day 1 Arrival in Ho Chi Minh - Half Day City Tour
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy a private transfer from the airport to your hotel in District 1 or 3. Later, embark on a fascinating half-day city tour covering key landmarks such as the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, the exterior of Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. You’ll also pass by the Opera House and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee building and take a stroll along Nguyen Hue Walking Street, offering a glimpse into the city’s vibrant blend of historical and modern life.
After breakfast, get picked up from your hotel and head to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, located about 60 km away (approx. 1.5-hour drive). Watch an introductory documentary and then explore the intricate tunnel network, including hidden trapdoors, field hospitals, storage areas, and weapon workshops. You’ll also visit a local rice paper workshop (if open) and taste local tea and tapioca. Post Cu Chi, continue your journey to My Tho, where you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).
